Our Purpose

The Comp Plan Group is an official City of Langley body created to work on updating the City's comprehensive plan. You can see the Council's resolution creating the here.

What We're Doing
And Ways You Can Get Involved

While the City's web site is being updated and revised we will use this section of the LCF web site to post various background information items and longer commentaries. We will also use the Comp Plan Group online conference for discussion. Everyone in the community is invited to participate.

Currently available are:

• The City Council resolution creating the CPG
• The City Code creating the CPG, as amended on August 19, 2006
• The Instructions to the Committees approved by Council on June 7, 2006
• Links to helpful resources

Plus some online videos (which require a DSL connection and up-to-date QuickTime)

• The overview of the comp plan update process presented at the April 27, 2006 Town Meeting
• The recommendations for pedestrian component of the transportation element presented to the Integration Committee on July 31, 2006.
